My project is re-imaging lecture theatre focused on the theatre located in law building. The lecture theatre is a traditional teaching and learning environment that allows a lot of people to learn in a short time compared to a traditional classroom. However, traditional lecture theatre limits certain pedagogical activities because of low utilisation. We need more dynamic learning environment to meet current and future needs of teachers and students. Space allows for greater functional flexibility, and by increasing the diversity of space, a shift in learning styles can be facilitated. So I created 3 design options to refurbish the lecture theatre.
